When you struggle to understand your spiritual calling, it manifests in all areas of your life. No wonder why you’re feeling unhappy at work, why you feel like the “black sheep” in your family and why you suddenly want to stay away from people.

First of all, I want to reassure you that this is perfectly normal. Everyone who started their spiritual development journey went through this stage. The more you learn about yourself and your higher self, the more lost you feel initially. It’s weird how it works, huh? 

Even though when you pass that phase of not understanding your reality anymore, you are still left with this frustrating itch: “I don’t know what my purpose is”.

If only we all remembered why we are here and what we were supposed to do! Wouldn’t our whole planet be a lot easier to live on? Most probably yes. And that’s the direction we’re heading. That’s exactly why we have more people experience their spiritual awakening. Yet, it’s still a confusing experience when you are certain that you are here on a mission but you have no idea what that is.

Why you need to understand your spiritual calling

Your spiritual calling has actually nothing to do with spirituality. Wait, did I just say that?!

Understanding your spiritual calling serves one major goal: to ensure that you become a more evolved soul. Not because of spiritual teachings, specific yoga postures and meditation techniques. No. But because your energetic self decided to spend some time here, right now, in this timeline, to become a tad bit more decent.

When you don’t understand your own spiritual calling, you simply can’t fulfil that promise that you made to YOURSELF. That’s right. No more external validation. Your development journey is all about you. Figuring out your spiritual calling will please no one but your own higher self.
