How to get more customers? This is the top one question that my own customers and my network keep asking me. I spoke to so many talented individuals who dedicate their career to their inner calling. They love what they do, they serve the conscious community, their soul is on fire. One thing still gets them worried: getting more customers.

This was also the number 1 challenge that impact-driven entrepreneurs were facing when I did my market research back in early 2020. Scaling up your spiritual business needs a key ingredient: more customers. As I’m on a mission to help impact-driven souls scale up to another level, I decided to show you a few ways to help you do exactly just that. Why? Because you can keep on making a positive impact in the world which makes me feel more fulfilled on a soul level.

Here 5 actions that you can implement to get more customers

How to get more customers, action item 1

Cross-promote your services and your products.

If you don’t do this, you might actually lose not only revenue but even the customer. If they’re not aware of alternatives or other services of yours, they might not say yes to you and they’ll walk away. Before you start cross-promoting, I’d also recommend checking out this comprehensive guide that covers the core basics on how to market your spiritual business. Everything you need to know about how to get more customers to keep your impact-driven business running in the long term.

Tip 2 to to find more customers for your spiritual business

Do not ignore your SEO!

I’m sure you heard about this many, many times because it’s extremely important that you do not ignore your SEO. Yes, SEO, which is your search engine optimization, is a long-term game but it can generate much better quality clients for you. Why? Because when people actively search Google for answers, they are more ready to work with you. You want to be showing up on Google for the terms that your customers are searching for. If you’re not sure where to get started, you can always go with my 3 truths about soulful SEO article which shows you that SEO is not that scary, even when you have ZERO technical skills (spoiler: it needs intuitive work 😉)

Increase your query to customer conversion.

Whoah, calm down! It’s not as difficult as it sounds. It’s the journey from the moment you start having a conversation with a potential buyer until they become an actual customer. When you know the milestones of this journey, you can make it as smooth as possible for the client. I talk about tracking your conversion rates here in more depth, but if you don’t feel like reading another article now then here’s the key takeaway. Look at when you lose potential clients. Do they have an intro call with you and then they disappear or say no? Do they download a lead magnet but they don’t move forward with your services or products? Tweaking the processes at each stage can tremendously improve your conversions. Ask for genuine feedback to understand what’s not working.

Number 4 with a hand in an esoteric business style

Incentivize bringing referrals.

This one seems pretty obvious, yet not many people are doing it. Word of mouth is still one of the biggest, most powerful advertising tools that’s actually out there. Don’t forget about it! The highest quality leads can come to you from your existing customers. They already know how great your services are. So the conversion (as I mentioned earlier) will be a lot easier & faster. Make sure that you incentivize your existing customers to bring referrals to you. Offer them some kind of a reward or perhaps extend their package or throw in a freebie from one of your products. A thank you like this goes a long way when you are trying to get more customers. (PS I offer a free 60-minute Soulful Strategy call for every successful referral you connect me with)

number 5 with a spiritual business style

Partner with relevant affiliates.

This is one of my favourites & it’s crazy how underutilised this solution is. Start with finding like-minded entrepreneurs and businesses that COMPLEMENT your services. Reach out to them and start building those partnerships. You can cross-promote each other’s businesses in exchange for a referral commission or custom discounts for your partner’s audience. Without a doubt, building affiliate partnerships will not only help you get more customers but also to find your tribe in the business world & unite.

And if you are not sure about WHAT exactly your spiritual business needs, here’s a 5-min assessment to help you understand where to direct your focus:
