What is mindful marketing? Simply put it’s the kind of marketing that doesn’t make you feel overwhelmed. Instead, it makes you feel confident as a spiritual entrepreneur as you become aware of your marketing efforts and their impact on your spiritual business.
In the same way you had to become mindful of your thoughts, your behaviour and your repeating patterns, figuring out what’s good for you in marketing is no different. Taking small but consistent steps towards understanding what works well for your spiritual business is more important than having everything figured out. With that said, let me show you 6 simple steps to help you become more mindful in your marketing as well.

First things first, there is no magic formula to market your spiritual business. You need to follow an approach that feels right to YOU. Marketing involves testing. Not everything works for everyone as we are not robots functioning the same way. When you market your solutions in a way that fully allows you to be the real you, that’s when the “magic” happens. When you become mindful of staying real in your marketing as well.
1️⃣ Empower with Your Copy
If you’re like me who simply refuses to mislead or trick people, then you’re gonna love this first step. Say goodbye to fear-based marketing tactics. Your audience is highly intuitive, just like you. They won’t respond to the typical fear-based tactics (eg “only 2 spots left”), instead, you’ll drive them away.
As a lightworker you are here to inspire and empower. Do the same with your copy.
How? By highlighting the benefits and the incredible transformations they can experience with you. It’s time to motivate, not intimidate. After all, they’re self-aware enough to know their challenges.
2️⃣ Have an Email List
Relying just on social media followers to grow your soulful business is unfortunately a risky move. You can get hacked, banned or locked out. Set yourself up with a more secure way of growing your digital tribe.
There are so many email marketing software available (most of them have free plans as well) so sign up for one of them. Choose something that also offers lead capture forms so you can give away digital freebies in exchange for collecting their email addresses. Once you are gaining new email subscribers, remember to use a mindful marketing approach here as well. Decide what you want to achieve with your emails before you start randomly sending them out. Nurture your subscribers with value-packed emails. It’s a digital dance that builds a deeper connection beyond the realms of social media.
3️⃣ Focus on Your Bestseller
Stop promoting ALL of your services or products all at once. You’ll just end up scattering your energies without having any real results. Instead, take a look at what resonates the most with your audience already. If you’re not tracking your sales properly then take a look at your previous clients. What did they buy the most? Which one of your services or products is bringing you the most amount of cash?
Shift your spotlight and promote only that for a while. You’ll see that less is more, especially in marketing. Not only it will help you stay focused but it’ll also make it easier for your audience to understand how to work with you.
I’ll give you a personal example. Remember, you can shift your focus from one service to another whenever you want. Picking your focus point doesn’t mean you have to ditch your remaining offers. It just means, one of them will get the spotlight 😊

4️⃣ Test Different Approaches
I said this already but let me say it again as this is really important: no magic marketing wand exists. It’s all about experimenting. Marketing can be a lot of fun. Go play! Try different approaches to see what resonates better with your audience. For example, you could promote your service with both a free webinar and a downloadable PDF. You’ll only know what format or method works better for YOU after you tried a few.
Just remember, don’t force an activity that goes against your intuition or values. If something feels off, don’t do it. I’ve met wonderful spiritual entrepreneurs who did incredibly well by managing Facebook groups and hosting free events there which turns attendees into clients. While the same approach landed horribly for another soul because she didn’t want to be active on social media. Be creative and go with what feels right to you.
5️⃣ Track What Really Works
Bear with me, only two more steps to create your solid mindful marketing approach. By now you learned to:
- step away from the scare tactics ❌👻
- grow your digital tribe outside of social media 📧
- identify which offer vibes the most with your audience 🥇
- play with different activities 🔀
Now what you want to do is pay attention to how your playfulness in marketing is working out. Meaning: start taking notes of your time, efforts, new leads (subscribers, followers), and the sacred revenue flowing in. The easiest way to take the confusion away from your marketing is by understanding how things are really playing out.
You don’t need to overcomplicate things, simply get into the habit of each week or month to jolt down what happened in your soulful business. Think of it as a journaling exercise for your business 😊
6️⃣ Do More of What Works
This one is the easiest and most obvious step: follow the flow of abundance. If something is working wonders, ride that wave. Channel 80% of your efforts into what’s proven, and let the remaining 20% be your playground for experimenting with the new.
Marketing shouldn’t feel like navigating a galactic maze. Find what aligns with you on a soul level, and let your unique energy shine. It’s time you get seen!
