What you tell your customers about your services is one thing, but how they see you in the market, against your competitors will be one of the deciding factors to choose you over someone else. It sounds simple right? So let’s see how it’s actually done.
If someone is searching for a credible professional in the holistic, spiritual or esoteric industries they are most likely not be the type of customer who are making decisions based on only logic. These people are looking for answers, solutions and guidance on an intuitive level. Price value, years of experience and flexibility might not be enough for you to attract clients. You need to really get your message across to your audience in the most authentic way.
How to communicate your mission to your customers on a soul level?
It’s time to get your walls down to show your raw journey. Every energy healer, lightworker, esoteric service provider I met, has been through their ‘dark night of the soul’, they all had a downward spiral that made them start an awakening journey towards enlightenment. It seems inevitable. You need to embrace your darkness before you can really shine your light. So don’t be afraid to show these experiences to your audience. They are likely to be going through something similar so by opening up to them, your potential customers will resonate with you even more on a deeper level. That beats pricing, advertising and even referrals.
Honesty is the best policy, we heard this many times yet not many of us actually apply this when it comes to business. We live in a world now when people are sick and tired of being manipulated and brainwashed. And marketing is infamous for doing that. Even though I’m incredibly passionate about marketing, I never created an advert or a campaign that was based on lies. I believe that authentic marketing and authentic branding goes a long way in the long term. Make sure that hat you communicate through your social media, your website and in person is actually fully in line with what you are about. There really is no need to ‘tweak’ things. You need to learn how to communicate your mission effectively yes, but that doesn’t mean sounding ‘salesy’. This is a sophisticated method paired with high emotional intelligence to get the grips of coming across authentic yet effective in business terms.
What does that even mean you might think? If you are in the spiritual, holistic therapies or esoteric industries then you are dealing with a very different customer profile than an average business. You clients are looking for some kind of connection, some kind of sign that you are the person they are seeking. They want to resonate with you, to feel like you are their manifestation to their inner questions. If they can’t relate to you in any way, then it will be very unlikely that they will turn into a paying customer. And if you don’t have customers paying for your services then you will remain stuck in that job that doesn’t actually make you feel fulfilled because you are still financially dependent to do something that’s not in line with your soul’s calling.
